Ramp From MD 24 to Northbound I-95 to be Closed Overnight Starting Monday, November 10
The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) wanted you to be aware that the on-ramp from MD 24 to northbound I-95 will be closed overnight to facilitate construction of the new interchange on Monday, November 10, 2025 and Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic on MD 24 travelling to northbound I-95 will be detoured while the closure is in effect.
Traffic travelling northbound on MD 24 will be directed to the on-ramp to southbound I-95 and travel south to the exit to MD 152 (Exit 74), where they will make a left at the signal onto southbound MD 152 and make a left onto the on-ramp to northbound I-95.
Traffic travelling southbound on MD 24 will be directed to continue straight and make a left onto MD 7 (Philadelphia Road) and travel for approximately 4 miles before making a left onto northbound MD 543 (Riverside Parkway) and making a right onto the on-ramp to northbound I-95.

Harford County Veterans & Resource Fair, Saturday, Nov. 15
On Saturday, November 15, Harford County is hosting a resource fair for veterans, active-duty military, and their families from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bel Air Armory, 37 N. Main Street in Bel Air.
The event is free and will provide information about veterans' healthcare, benefits, and other resources, including a guide to local businesses that offer discounts to veterans. Representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Maryland Department of Veterans and Military Families (DVMF) and several veterans service organizations will be in attendance to discuss claims, assist veterans in signing up for VA healthcare, and answer questions about important federal and state VA benefits and resources.

Saturday October 25th: Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Harford County residents will be able to drop off their expired and unwanted medications for safe disposal at six locations on Saturday, October 25th, 2o25.
Harford County Department of Housing and Community Services' Office of Drug Control Policy, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), local law enforcement and Wegmans Food Market, will be collecting the medications as part of the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
All types of over the counter and prescription medications will be accepted along with vitamins and pet medication- no questions asked.
Drive-Thru Collection will be available from 10 a.m to 2 p.m at the following locations:
-Harford County government building, 220 S. Main Street, Bel Air
-Bel Air Police Department, 39 N. Hickory Avenue
-Harford County Emergency Services Annex, 3724 Norrisville Road, Jarrettsville
-Havre de Grace Police Department, 715 Pennington Avenue
-Maryland State Police Barracks, 1401 Belair Road, Bel Air
-Wegmans Market, 21 Wegmans Boulevard, Abingdon
Harford County has collected and destroyed over 46,200 pounds of unwanted medications since 2013, and the national effort has resulted in the retrieval of 19.8 million pounds of unwanted, expired, or unused medications since 2016.
