About Steve

Harford County is a wonderful place to live; it is like no other. I know because I have lived in many places in my lifetime and I now consider Harford County my home.

I spent the first five years of my life in Garrison, Kentucky, before moving with my parents to Mentor On The Lake, Ohio. We lived there until I was in the fifth grade. I finished out Middle and High school in Shady Springs, West Virginia, where I lived with my parents and three siblings.

I moved to Maryland in 1980. I was employed by a Baltimore construction company as a supervisor on a project at Locust Point Shipyard. I was so impressed with this area that when the construction job was completed my mother called me and asked “When are you coming home?” My answer to her was “I think I am home.” I have enjoyed this area ever since.

Harford County offers so much to so many. It is rich in history, just hours from the seat of government in Washington and the site of our government’s beginnings in Philadelphia. Cultural activities abound in Washington, Baltimore and Philadelphia. The mountains of Western Maryland, the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean provide recreation for everybody within a few hours driving time.

What more can you ask for?
Maintaining and improving great qualities of life for future generations to enjoy.

I have been involved for many years in our local politics, as well as a volunteer for many organizations in Harford County. I believe in doing what I can to make our community a better place to live.
