BGE Customer Relief Fund

Starting July 1st, limited and middle-income customers will be able to apply for one-time grants ranging from $250 to $750, credited directly to their BGE accounts.

Fund Details:

• Applications open July 1 through United Way of Central Maryland’s website, with a direct link posted at bge.com/relief
• Grants range from $250 to $750, based on need and eligibility
• Eligibility includes limited- and moderate-income/ALICE customers with past-due BGE balances
• Both gas and electric customers are eligible
• BGE does not profit from this program— this is a shareholder-funded effort that underscores our ongoing commitment to making energy more affordable
